The kids are alright
The future of hockey may return to training
When the spread of Covid-19 very slowly now goes down around the country, today the Swedish government made a new decision to allow kids, born in 2005 or later, to return to various sports activities.
This is of course great news as younger hockey players get the chance to regain their training and future development to maintain both their interest and physique.
But all sports activity must continue in a safe manner, keep a distance and good hand hygiene, etc., to prevent the spread of infection.
We want to keep children’s activities going as far as possible. Anyone who has seen a child go home sweaty from a training knows how much it means.Amanda Lind, Swedish Minister of Culture and Sports
